The Twins defeated the White Sox 7-6 Monday night on a Jamey Carroll's walk-off sacrifice fly scoring Alexi Casilla from 3rd base.  Danny Valencia went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, Josh Willingham was 2-3 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Denard Span was 2-3 with a run scored.  Span also added 2 great catches in centerfield.  Glen Perkins threw a scoreless 9th inning to get the win.  He is 2-1.

The Twins are 44-58 and are 11 games back of the White Sox for first place in the American League Central.  Minnesota is in 4th place in the AL Central.

The Twins host the White Sox again tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Nick Blackburn (4-6) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and lefthander Francisco Liriano (3-10) makes his White Sox debut.

The Major League Baseball trade deadline is today at 3pm (CT).  Denard Span, Justin Morneau, and Josh Willingham have all been listed as possible players that could be dealt.
