ST. CLOUD -- Here's a look back at our #9 story for 2013. The long awaited 2013 St. Cloud air show was officially put to a halt due to the federal sequester.

It was announced last February that the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels, F/A-18 Strike Fighter Squadron 106 and the Air Force's F-22 Raptor were among the acts to perform on July 20th and 21st.

The Central Minnesota Council of Boy Scouts were organizing the event. St. Cloud Air Show director, Chris Chapman says efforts were made to save the show, even though the big acts wouldn't be performing.

Refunds were issued to those who bought tickets. St. Cloud wasn't the only location to feel the impact. Over 25 air shows were canceled nationwide.

Coming up tomorrow (Saturday) we'll have the #8 local news story in our Top 10 Countdown.
