Too Soon? Popular MN Electronics Retailer Unveils ’24 Black Friday Deals

A popular Minnesota retailer unveiled its 2024 Black Friday deals this morning. The deals, which will kick off the holiday shopping season, start pretty early this year. Best Buy will start it's Black Friday promotions on November 8th this year, or roughly two weeks from this Friday. So what kind of deals are we talking about here? This is what we've found out so far.

It seems like holiday creep happens earlier and earlier. I saw Christmas ornaments in a Menards this past July! The holiday shopping season generally kicks off the day AFTER Thanksgiving, known as Black Friday. Well this year Minnesota retailer, Best Buy, will be starting their holiday shopping deals the first week in November, hoping to entice shoppers to get their presents bought early.

So what kind of deals is Best Buy throwing out there this year?

According to an online press release from the electronics retailer the deals will start November 8th and roll out new deals each and every Friday through December 20th!

On top of the weekly new deals, there will also be a big Cyber Monday offer that could see some items fall to 50% off.

• Doorbuster deals: We’re dropping new doorbusters on select tech every Friday—starting Nov. 8 through Dec. 20—on the Best Buy App, BestBuy.com and in stores. These doorbusters are some of the hottest deals of the season on top tech, and to make it even sweeter, Plus and Total members get early access every Thursday before they’re available to everyone.  

• Black Friday deals: You don’t have to wait much longer to start getting Black Friday deals. Starting Nov. 8, take advantage of Black Friday deals and shop select Black Friday offers to get a jump-start on the savings.  

• Black Friday Sale: Our Black Friday Sale kicks off more than a week early this year. Starting Thursday, Nov. 21, we’ll have incredible deals on thousands of gifts and top brands. Doorbusters that dropped earlier in the month will return, along with new doorbusters on Friday, Nov. 22 and Black Friday.  

• Cyber Monday Sale: The Cyber Monday Sale begins Sunday, Dec. 1, where you can save up to 50% on top gifts.  

Best Buy locations will also be open later starting November 3rd, you'll have to check individual store hours for the new times, as they will differ for each location.

Best Buy also won't be beaten on price this year, as they are rolling out a price match guarantee, with some caveats of course.

For me, it's more about how early the deals are beginning, it seems we are always being hit over the head with the Christmas/Holiday shopping season, earlier and earlier each year.
