Twenty-one-year-old Shawn Benson of Buffalo was charged Wednesday in Wright County with second-degree intentional murder. Benson is accused of fatally shooting 19-year-old Cheyenne Clough of Buffalo with a handgun early on June 1 at the entrance to Crow Springs County Park.

Prosecutors allege Clough had argued with the others about someone snitching on her boyfriend. Clough thought she was being driven home when she was taken to the park and shot several times.
