I'm not on Instagram that much, but one of the people I follow is a great comedian.  I like to follow people like this, because whenever you need a pick-me-up, this type of content is always there to do just that.

If you are not familiar with Celeste Barber, I suggest you follow her immediately.

Barber's schtick is to take ridiculous videos that people put out, like in tiny outfits and then doing something like climbing a wall seductively or something along those lines, and making her own version.  The result is always hilarious.  Some much better than others, but they are always funny.

The videos are all just parodies that she enlists her husband into filming.  They must have a great relationship.  She also uses him as fodder for her shows too.  He's a great sport, obviously.

Her latest show is called "Backup Dancer".  The show is scheduled to be at the State Theatre in Minneapolis later this month, June 20th.  This is a Thursday night, but might be worth the either sleepiness the next day, or just take the next day off.

Celeste won the ‘Funniest Lady on Instagram’ Award 2017 on WhoHaha.com; a digital platform co-founded by actor, director, producer, Elizabeth Banks which showcases women in comedy around the world. In 2019 she was included in Variety Magazine ‘Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch’ Awards.

I did look at Ticketmaster, and the cost is not too out of line, either.  In other words, seems affordable.  And I'm comparing that to some of the music shows that are having issues selling because they are so pricey.

The tickets prices range from $39.50 to $79.50.  All other information, and ticket purchase can be made through this website.
