A St. Cloud girl hurt her wrist after she was struck by a car coming out of an alley. Police say a 17-year-old driver was exiting the alley when he hit the 11-year-old girl who was riding her bike on the sidewalk.

St. Cloud Police are looking for help in finding a possible suspect in a recent burglary in the area of Lindsay Court Tuesday afternoon. Police say a witness saw a black man in the area at about the time of the break-in.

Authorities are investigating a burglary that happened while the residents were gone sometime between last Wednesday and this Tuesday. It happened in the 500 block of 12th Street South in St. Cloud.

Emergency crews have rescued a total of eight people from the swollen Sauk River in St. Cloud. The group was tubing down the river when they got into trouble.

St. Cloud Police set up a perimeter around a St. Cloud house this morning after being called to a suspected burglary. Police arrived to the 1400 block of 9th Avenue South just before 9:00 a.m. and stationed police around the home until a police dog arrived. Officers noticed a broken window at the rear of the house and a screen lying on the floor of the porch.

Police are investigating a southeast St. Cloud burglary. Officers say someone entered the home on Minnesota Boulevard Southeast sometime overnight and stole several electronic items.

St. Cloud has five new police officers patrolling the streets. The officers were sworn-in this (Monday) afternoon during a ceremony at the Police Headquarters.

A 39-year-old St. Cloud man is facing domestic assault charges. Anthony Brown is accused going into the home of his 31-year-old ex-girlfriend with a steel collapsible baton.

St. Cloud police are investigating an armed robbery of a cab driver. The incident happened at about 2:20 a.m. on Saturday at 614 13th Street South.

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar will be in town today (Monday). She'll be speaking at a swearing-in ceremony for five new police officers.
