The Class C State Amateur Baseball tournament begins today in St. Cloud at Dick Putz and Joe Faber Field. The tournament hasn't been in St. Cloud since 2002 and this will be the first time that Putz and Faber Fields will be used for the tournament. In 2002 Putz and Cold Spring Park were used. The Co-Chairs of the tournament in St. Cloud are Andy Auger and Pete Cheeley. Auger says this is the first time since 1982 at the tournament can be held in one location without needing to drive.
The Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival has been rated the International Bluegrass Music Association's event of the year three times, and local fans of bluegrass music can catch national acts here in our backyard at El Rancho Manana Campground.
