Waite Park police have released the name of the man killed in a motorcycle crash last (Monday) night. Chief Dave Bentrud says 23-year-old Jesse Lee Nelson of Becker was killed in the crash that happened at about 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of 7th Street South and St. Andrews Drive.
A St. Cloud Children's Home staff member has been cited after an incident where a teen resident on "risk status" for suicide attempts was left without supervision in a room at the facility. The alleged victim was a 14-year-old who was admitted to the facility in December 2014.
A Monticello man has been charged with four counts of possessing child pornography after leaving a flash drive at the St. Cloud Library that had pornographic images and his resume on it. According to the criminal complaint, a library supervisor called police in November after finding the images while cleaning information from the flash drive from the lost and found bin.
