Although I always find it hard to put away my ice fishing gear, I do relish the days when I can get the boat in the water and search for spring panfish.
Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota joined me on WJON today. She says Minnesotans turned to biking, hiking, fishing and golf more than anything else this summer with Covid-19 changing some of our habits. She says many resorts and camp ground also saw an increase in revenue compared to last year.
WJON's Question of the Week is asking listeners to name a song that reminds them of their mom or fishing. With the Fishing opener Saturday and Mother's Day Sunday we look to salute anglers and mothers. Answer this question between 9:10-10 this morning by calling 320-252-5852, email jay@wjon.com or comment on facebook.
