District 742

The St. Cloud area school district and its teachers have reached a tentative agreement on a two year contract for this school year and next year. District 742 and the St. Cloud Education Association (SCEA) made the announcement on Thursday.

A St. Cloud area school board member is renewing his push for a one high school system for District 742. Bruce Hentges says now is the time to explore the operational costs of running one new school, instead of the current two school system.

With the news that District 742 would maintain Clark Field last week, the Friends of Clark Field group is now exploring options to restore the field for varsity sports.
