Cathedral Soccer

The Cathedral boys soccer team lost 1-0 in double overtime to Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa Wednesday evening at the Class A State Tournament Semifinals at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Cathedral girls soccer lost 6-1 to top seeded Providence Academy in the Class A State Tournament Quarterfinals at Monticello High School Wednesday night. Jordan Bovy scored the lone goal for the Crusaders who finish the season at 12-4-3.

Cathedral girls soccer downed Detroit Lakes 3-1 Tuesday. Caroline O'Driscoll had 2 goals for the Crusaders.

Boys Soccer: Tech 3, Sauk Rapids-Rice 1 (Irvin Rivera scored 2 goals for the Tigers. Tech is 4-1 in the CLC and 7-1 overall. Sauk Rapids-Rice is 1-2-3 in the CLC and 3-4-3 overall) Apollo 3, Sartell-St. Stephen 3 (overtime tie) (Zach Jacobson scored the game-tying goal for the Sabres)

The boys and girls section 8A soccer playoffs continue today. The schedule is as follows: Boys Hillcrest Lutheran @ Sartell-St. Stephen, 4pm Cathedral @ Bemidji, 4pm

Girls Soccer: Cathedral 4, Minnewaska 0 (Natalie Barron, Sophie Barner, Erin Peterson and Annie Johnson each scored a goal for the Crusaders. Cathedral is 11-3-2)
