Big Apple Bagels is returning to St. Cloud this summer. The St. Cloud Downtown Council announced on Tuesday that the restaurant will be at 701 West St. Germain Street, which used to be home to Whiskey Business and Biology 701. They hope to be open by late August.

A new antiques and vintage decor shop is now open in downtown St. Cloud. The Rusty Pick is at 707 West St. Germain Street, attached to Bumbledees. The store sells clothing, jewelry, signs, architectural salvage, artwork, antique toys, vintage books and much more.

A popular St. Cloud gyro restaurant has opened a second location on the north side of town. New York Gyro opened their new restaurant at 3310 3rd Street North last Monday. New York Gyro first came to St. Cloud in 2012. The current location near University Drive South will continue to run normally.

A new restaurant in downtown St. Cloud is planning to open in the near future. Quarks American Bento will offer fast healthy food and take-out featuring a bento box menu. The food will be prepared quickly to serve the fast-paced downtown crowd.

H&M is opening a store in the St. Cloud Crossroads Mall later this year. The store is planning to open in November. The Crossroads Mall confirmed the announcement with a post on their Facebook page on Wednesday.

Stearns Electric Association has named Patrick Bleth as their next CEO. Bleth holds a bachelor's in industrial technology and manufacturing management from Bemidji State University and was selected for the position after a national search. He will take over on July 1st.

Sartell Fitness-The Shake Shoppe is closing its doors in a few weeks. Owner Stuart Swenson says the gym is closing because he signed a lease with Dollar Tree. He says the gym will sell off its equipment later this month. Sartell Fitness is at 1090 2nd Street South.

Blattner Energy Inc. is investing $6.2 million to expand and renovate its headquarters in Avon. Blattner Energy is planning a two-story, 20,296 square-foot expansion. It's expected to create 12 new jobs at the site. The project includes adding 75 new offices and work stations.

A downtown St. Cloud tea shop now has a new name and ownership. What used to be Willow Tea is now Spice of Life Tea at 820 West St. Germain Street. Terri Emmerich is the new owner and says she jumped at the opportunity to own the shop. Spice of Life offers numerous teas by the cup or in bulk, coffee, herbs and spices.

A new gyro-Mediterranean restaurant is opening in St. Cloud soon. Gyro Express will be in the strip center at 33rd Avenue North and 3rd Street. Amer Mian is the owner of Gyro Express and also Campus Kabob in town, he says they hope to open sometime next week.
