Quarks American Bento to Open Late June or Early July

ST. CLOUD - A new restaurant in downtown St. Cloud is planning to open in the near future.

Quarks American Bento will offer fast healthy food and take-out featuring a bento box menu. The food will be prepared quickly to serve the fast-paced downtown crowd. A specific opening date hasn't been announced, but the restaurant hopes to be open in late June or early July.

The restaurant is at 125 5th Avenue South, next to Brothers Bar and Grill. There will be seating for around 34 guests, plus patio seating.

The menu is heavy on veggies, healthy grains and lean meats. There is also a gluten-free menu. At Quarks, you will be able to customize your meal by choosing your ingredients from six main elements and made from scratch sauces.

Owners Adam and Lisa Schulte live in Richmond and are excited to bring their dream to life in downtown St. Cloud.

Quarks will also feature an ordering app available on smart phones, so you can order ahead of time.
