New Gyro-Mediterranean Restaurant Coming to St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - A new gyro-Mediterranean restaurant is opening in St. Cloud soon.

Gyro Express will be in the strip mall at 33rd Avenue North and 3rd Street. Amer Mian is the owner of Gyro Express and also Campus Kabob in town, he says they hope to open sometime next week.

"We just think it's going to be a good location, there's a lot of foot traffic and I think there will be a good customer base there."

Mian says Gyro Express will have Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Somali foods.

"Mostly gyros and kabobs and some rice dishes and a little more authentic than some other establishments in town."

The restaurant is planning to be open from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday and until 1:00 a.m. Thursday-Saturday.
