Stingers Edge River Bats 4-3

Willmar downed the St. Cloud River Bats 4-3 in Willmar Thursday night.  Willmar jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held on for the win.  St. Cloud scored 3 runs in the 6th inning but came up short.  Andy Henkemeyer was 1-4 with 2 RBIs and Bryan Peters went 1-3 with 1 RBI for the Bats.  Zach Hirsch allowed 4 earned runs in 5 innings to take the loss.  St. Cloud is 2-7 and will host Willmar tonight at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
