ST. CLOUD -- Toyota dealers were notified of a production slowdown in April which could lead some dealerships left with little inventory this summer. But, St. Cloud Toyota principal owner Mike Dockendorf says their dealership is well-positioned to get through it.

Dockendorf says every winter they stock up on inventory for a busy spring selling season.  He says it was not related to the Japan disaster but rather common practice for his dealership.

Dockendorf says parts are readily available for existing customers and he doesn't expect much more than a brief delay in deliveries.

He says the Prius is the one model that will be impacted the most because it's only manufactured in Japan, and the demand is high because of rising gas prices.

Dockendorf says 70-percent of Toyota's overall vehicle production takes place in the U.S.
