St. Cloud Search Warrant Nets Three Arrests

ST. CLOUD -- Three people were arrested after a search warrant was served on a home in south St. Cloud Tuesday.

Members of the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force used the warrant at 802 18th Avenue South after receiving a report that a man wanted on an outstanding warrant was at the address.

Because the man, 24-year-old Miguel Moreno, was believed to possibly be carrying a weapon the St. Cloud SWAT team assisted in the search.

Moreno, who is ineligible to have a gun, tried to escape through a basement window but was immediately arrested. No gun was found on him.

Police say they also located drug paraphernalia in several rooms of the home and arrested two others at the location. Thirty-four-year-old Amanda Karls of St. Cloud and 47-year-old Robert Oneal of St. Cloud were both arrested on outstanding warrants of their own.
