The Minnesota Wild are just 2 points out of the last wildcard spot in the Western Conference after posting a 4-game winning streak which includes a 4-2 win at Florida Tuesday night.  Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today.  He says head coach Bruce Boudreau deserves a lot of credit for getting the Wild back on track. The Gopher football team is receiving post season honors including P.J. Fleck named the Big Ten Coach of the year by the coaches and Antoine Winfield Jr. named the defensive back of the year in the conference.  Jim Souhan weighs in on whether Winfield will leave for the NFL draft.

The Twins are one of the many teams interested in starting pitcher Zach Wheeler.  Jim Souhan doesn't believe the Twins will outbid the competition for his services.
