Sherburne Co. to Test Sirens Near Nuclear Plant

MONTICELLO - Sherburne County residents near the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant will hear the warning sirens this (Wednesday) afternoon.

The Sheriff's Department says the brief test till be conducted at 1:00 p.m., and should last less than one minute.

Sirens within 10 miles of the plant are being tested to check the backup system.
