Rare & Powerful Northern Lights Show Expected Tonight And Tomorrow In Minnesota
ACTIVE SUNSPOT IS THROWING STUFF AT US!
According to the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, an active sunspot is throwing coronal mass ejections at us. The mass ejections could create some amazing northern lights activity tonight and tomorrow.
The event is considered an "unusual event' because so many mass ejections have been recorded in a very short time span. At the time of this report, there had already been a minimum of 5 recorded.
BEST TIME TO WATCH FOR ACTIVITY THIS WEEKEND
What time should you start watching for the northern lights? According to the story, the best time to start watching will be shortly after it gets dark tonight. If we are lucky, the northern light activity will continue through Saturday night, and it appears that the forecast is working in our favor this weekend.

FIRST G4 WATCH SINCE 2005
This is the first G4 Watch that has been issued since the year 2005! I'm hoping the show will be a great one, as that is what's predicted.
If you are wondering how to get a good view of the northern lights, here are a few tips for those who have never viewed them before.
HOW TO VIEW THE NORTHERN LIGHTS
1. Do you have a friend or family member that lives out in the sticks? The darker the sky, the better your chance of seeing the northern lights. If you live within city limits, you're going to have to get out of your comfort zone. Head for an area that has no street lights and look for the darkest skies you can find.
2. Shortly after dark. The aurora is supposed to be most visible at Sunrise and Sunset. It will not be directly above you, necessarily. Look to the horizon for green dancing lights.
