ST. CLOUD -- Warmer daytime temperatures and freezing nighttime temps are the prime recipe for potholes this time of year. But, St. Cloud City Engineer Steve Foss says the drier than normal conditions this fall should help limit the number number of potholes this spring.

He says last year was a worse than normal year.  Crews were unable to keep up with all of the potholes last spring, but Foss says they aren't anticipating a season as bad as 2010-2011.

Foss says they are out repairing the potholes that are developing, but he says so far there haven't been too many potholes on St. Cloud streets.

If you have a pothole to report, call the city's street department at 650-2900.
