Police Shut Down Road Due to Flooding From Broken Sewage Pipe
SARTELL -- Drivers wanting to take Stearns County Road 1 this (Tuesday) morning will have to find a different route.
The Sartell Police Department says Stearns County Road 1 is closed between 9th Avenue North in St. Cloud and County Road 120 by Walmart in Sartell, due to a broken sewage pipe.
You are asked to find an alternative route until the situation is under control.
Utility crews on site say the pressure of the break caused the road to lift up. They are currently checking the area to make sure if any other utilities have been damaged.
We will update you when the roadway is open as more information becomes available.
