EDEN PRAIRIE (AP) - Eden Prairie police say a missing woman's DNA was in a blood sample from a jacket found in the SUV of her ex-boyfriend.

Police released more information Tuesday about test results in their investigation into last week's disappearance of 24-year-old Mandy Matula.

According to police, DNA analysis revealed the presence of Matula's DNA in a blood sample from a jacket found in David Roe's vehicle.

Matula was last seen late Wednesday. Roe agreed to talk to a detective, but shot himself after pulling into the Eden Prairie police parking lot Thursday and died the next day.

Police also say tests confirm an unfired bullet found by searchers near Miller Park last weekend was in the chamber of Roe's handgun at some point.

Police continue to search targeted areas for Matula. A search by family members and friends also took place in St. Cloud recently.
