ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - A panel tracking the launch of Minnesota's medical marijuana law is getting an earful of the program's good and bad stories.

The state's task force overseeing the program met Friday for the first time since medical marijuana went on sale in July. The Legislature legalized medical cannabis last year.

Kari Olavson told the panel the medication is treating her son Jacob's seizures so well, it's changed his life.

Rochelle Quandt says the medicine is doing wonders for her daughter Alexandra's seizures. But there are still problems. She says she's not allowed administer it at her school.

Jennessa Lea is one of several patients who are back to buying marijuana on the street because the state's prices are too high.

Some lawmakers say changes may be needed to improve the law.
