MnDOT Offers Railroad Safety Reminders

UNDATED -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation is reminding you to take extra precaution around railroad crossings and railroad tracks.

So far this year, there have been 14 train-related fatalities. Seven of the fatalities have involved pedestrians trespassing on railroad property. Seven others were fatalities at rail crossings.

MnDOT officials say stay away from the tracks and never cross against the blinking lights and cross arms.
