ST. PAUL (AP) - As New York gets ready to host Denver and Seattle in the Super Bowl, Minnesota is going to do some dreaming about the day it may host the big game.

Gov. Mark Dayton and business leaders are about to unveil the state's bid to attract the NFL's marquee event.

The new stadium that will soon begin rising for the Vikings is key to the bid. Public money is paying about half of the billion-dollar replacement for the Metrodome.

The new stadium is due to open before the 2016 season.
