AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) - Partners in life for more than 67 years, a southern Minnesota couple died of natural causes just two days apart.

Relatives say Myron and Betty Young spent most of their time together during their marriage of more than 6 decades. Daughter Wanda Gwinn says she admired her parents' perseverance through the years, through good times and bad. She says they were loving to everyone.

The couple raised three children on Myron's family farm in rural Oakland, where they remained most of their life. Reports say the couple's health declined last month and both were moved to St. Mark's Lutheran Home in Austin. Myron died Jan. 11 and Betty passed away two days later.
