MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (AP) - Investigators trying to solve the case of a Maple Grove girl who went missing in 1989 have spent about a week searching the home where she once lived.

Police say they plan to update reporters on their investigation into Amy Pagnac's disappearance on Saturday morning.

Authorities have been at the home of Pagnac's parents since last Sunday. They've declined to say what prompted the search or what they are seeking.

Pagnac was 13 when she disappeared from an Osseo gas station in August 1989. Her stepfather had stopped to use the restroom, and he told police she was gone when he returned.

Pagnac's mother has said the girl had a medical condition that caused her to become disoriented, and she may have wandered off and been picked up by someone.
