Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation to Hire President

ST. CLOUD -- The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation is adding a president to its management structure.

The non-profit organization was founded in 2011 to grow the economic development of the region. But, GSDC Board Administrator Sonja Gidlow says they have grown over that time and have six initiatives they are focusing on.

One of those initiatives is business development.  Gidlow says that's CEO John Kramer's specialty and the board wants him to be able to focus solely on that work.

The new president will act as the spokesperson for the organization and also be responsible for marketing the brand name and handle staff.

Gidlow says they hope to have a person named to the position in May.
