ST. CLOUD - WJON News continues our special preview of the local races in "Election 2014."

Today we're focusing on St. Cloud City Council - Ward 2. It's a race featuring incumbent Nancy Gohman and former council member Sonja Hayden Berg.

Why Do You Want To Be On The St. Cloud City Council?

Gohman says she's learned a lot being on the council for the past four years.

Meanwhile, Hayden Berg says she'd like to get back on the city council to help develop strong neighborhood groups.

What's The Most Important Issue Facing St. Cloud Right Now?

Gohman says the budget is the number one issue facing the city right now.

Challenger Hayden Berg agrees, the city has to stay within it's budget.

How Do You Think You Can Make A Difference?

Gohman says she wants to represent all of the people in the large ward.

Hayden Berg says she has a long consistent record from her previous years on the council.

St. Cloud's Ward 2 covers all of the area to the east of the Mississippi River, as well as a small area just to the west of the river.
