Elderly Pedestrian Struck And Killed

COTTAGE GROVE, (AP) - An elderly pedestrian has been struck and killed in Cottage Grove.

Police say the 85-year-old man was walking near an intersection when he was hit by an SUV Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say the man died at the scene of the accident.The SUV driver was cooperating with investigators.
