Celebrate Freedom at 19th Annual Juneteenth Cookout

ST. CLOUD -- A night of food, games and music is going on tonight (Friday) as the 19th annual Juneteenth picnic is celebrated in St. Cloud.

The event will feature a cookout, kids' activities, arts and crafts, and other entertainment.

Juneteenth celebrates the freedom of slaves in Texas on June 13th-19th, 1865 -- more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

The picnic runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Riverside Park in St. Cloud.
