A recent rash of armed robberies at Sauk Rapids businesses has many in the community wondering if they're related. Police Chief Perry Beise says he can't comment on the specific reasons, but he believes the gas station robberies and the armed robbery at Bubba's Bar aren't related.

Two people were arrested Saturday night after a domestic assault call in South St. Cloud. Police responded to the 700 block of 8th Avenue South and found 42-year-old Edward Lawler of St. Cloud with a potentially life-threatening stab wound to his leg. He was rushed to St. Cloud Hospital.
