Brother of Missing Woman Trying to Organize St. Cloud Area Search

EDEN PRAIRIE -- Even as Eden Prairie Police have released a new interactive map showing where Mandy Matula may have went missing...her brother Steven Matula is trying to organize a search in the St. Cloud area. He says he's looking for someone to lead the search in our area.

Steven Matula is asking anyone who wants to lead the search or be part of the search in the St. Cloud and Sartell area to visit the Minnesota United Facebook page. He hopes to have details of a weekend search announced Friday.

Meanwhile, the Stearns County Sheriff's Department has confirmed they are assisting the Eden Prairie Police Department in search efforts in the St. Cloud area, however to what extent is unclear.

Chief Deputy Bruce Bechtold says they can't talk about the case because it falls under Eden Prairie's jurisdiction. Calls to the Eden Prairie PD haven't yet been returned.
