Mikko Koivu scored the Wild's only goal of the game with just over ten seconds left in the first period on a fluttering shot from center ice. The Wild outshot St. Louis 33-20 in the loss.

Minnesota hits the road for a pair of games on Florida, beginning Thursday night at Tampa Bay before a game in Sunrise against the Panthers Friday.
