Authorities Identify Austin Woman Killed in Christmas Fire
AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 53-year-old woman killed in a Christmas Day house fire in Austin.
Reports say firefighters found the body of Sherry Fisher while extinguishing the fire at her home Friday afternoon.
According to the Austin Fire Department, a preliminary autopsy report finds Fisher died from smoke inhalation.
The fire caused an estimated $60,000 in damage.
The State Fire Marshal's office is still investigating the cause of the fire.
