Albany Celebrates 125 Years With Heritage Days

Albany is turning 125 this year and looks to celebrate this weekend with their annual Heritage Days:

FRIDAY, July 31st
- Albany Car Show at Albany Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram starts at 4:00 p.m.
- Sisters on the Fly RV Tours at North Park. at 4:00 p.m.
- Medallion Hunt first clue given at 7:00 p.m. at Albany Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

SATURDAY, August 1st
- Journey to Health Expo begins at 7:00 a.m.
- 5K Run starts at 8:00 a.m. (7:00 a.m. registration). Followed by 1K Run at 9:00 a.m.
- I-94 Baseball Tournament begins at 8:00 a.m.
- Medallion Hunt second clue given at 9:00 a.m. at Health Stand.
- All School Reunion at Albany High School from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Lunch provided).
- Heritage Classic pedal bike ride begins at 11:00 a.m. with 10:00 a.m. sign-up.
- Rookies Bean Bag Toss sign-in at noon.
- Children's Actvities begin at 2:00 p.m. including fish pond, facepainting, and bounce houses.
- Ice Cream Social for Kids at 2:00 p.m.
- Beer Garden and Charitable Gambling begins at 2:00 p.m.
- Medallion Hunt third clue given at 2:00 p.m. at the Chamber Booth.
- Bean Bag Toss for Teens begins at 2:00 p.m.
- Children's Bikes Giveaways at 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Live Music by Elk River German Band from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
- Children's Tractor Pedal Pull at 4:00 p.m. (3:30 p.m. registration).
- Medallion Hunt fourth clue given at 5:00 p.m. at the Chamber Booth.
- Grand Parade begins at 7:00 p.m. celebrating Albany's 125 years.
- Live Music by Dirt Road Prophets begins at 8:00 p.m.
- Fireworks Display starts at dusk.
- Albany Lion's Club Gun Raffle and Albany Chamber of Commerce's "Split the Pot" Raffle held at 10:15 p.m.
- Free Concert by Blackhawk begins at 10:30 p.m.
