50th Annual Foley Fun Days Kicks Off Saturday

FOLEY -- The 50th annual Foley Fun Days festivities kick off tomorrow (Saturday) at 8:00 a.m.

The five day celebration begins with an all city garage sale in the morning. The Foley Police Department will be hosting Bike Safety Rodeo, an event to teach kids proper bike safety techniques.

You can also get your bikes and helmets inspected by Rod's Bicycle Shop. Kids can register to win prizes and enjoy a free meal from Coborn's.

On Saturday the annual Junior Miss Foley coronation begins at 6:00 p.m. at Foley High School.

Monday's events include a 5k walk and run starting at 6:00 p.m. and a Car Show at Murphy Chevrolet from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Family Fun Night activities set sail with the fire department's Waterball Tournament. The annual Kiddie Parade kicks off at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday's events include the city parade at 6:30 p.m. with 13 marching bands and more than 100 parade floats.
