3rd Annual St. Cloud Pridefest Christened with Marriage Equality Rally [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud Pridefest is on. To start off the 3rd annual event, several hundred people gathered in St. Cloud in support of same-sex marriage equality.

The PFLAG Pride rally, held Thursday evening in Barden Park, was organized in partnership with St. Cloud Pride. It included speeches from representatives from organizations around the state - representatives like MN United for All Families campaign manager Richard Carlbom.

Carlbom says he's impressed at the response he's seen from the St. Cloud community opposing November's vote on the marriage amendment.

Following the battery of speakers, rally goers held an equality march through downtown St. Cloud.

St. Cloud Pridefest continues through Sunday.
