111th Annual Stearns County Fair Kicks Off Today

SAUK CENTRE -- The Stearns County Fair kicks off it's 111th year in Sauk Centre today (Thursday).

The four day celebration features carnival rides, games, live music, a petting zoo, food vendors, a beer garden and more.

Stearns County residents can enter to be in Stearns County's Got Talent Karaoke Contest which kicks off at 8:00 p.m. tonight.

The two categories include both a 14 and under and 15 and over division. Winners will receive a cash prize.

The band Dirt World Prophets and Slip Twister are schedule take the stage this weekend along with a variety of other local entertainers.

The annual Demo Derby kicks off at 7:00 p.m. followed by the tractor pull contest at 7:30 p.m. You can find a complete list of the fair's events by going to the Stearns County Fair website.
