District 742 is hosting a listening session on Tuesday regarding the future of the Tech High School campus. The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Tech High School Cafeteria.
The St. Cloud area school district is now looking to have a vote in the fall on whether to build a new Tech High School and renovate Apollo High School. The board originally planned for a public vote in the spring, but came to an agreement during their work session meeting on Wednesday night that more time is needed.

Mayor Dave Kleis held a town hall meeting tonight (Thursday) with residents of the neighborhoods around the Tech High School building. Kleis held an open discussion in which those in attendance were able to voice their concerns and raise questions about the relocation of Tech High School.

Today on WJON's 2-Cent Tuesday topics included the potential building of a new Tech High School. Suggestions varied from repairing the current Tech building, to getting sponsorship for a new building to help pay for it and the tearing down the old Tech because of its sustainability.
