Studio Sessions: Charlie Roth Getting Ready for European Tour [VIDEO]

A longtime St. Cloud musician stopped by the WJON studio to sing live today (Tuesday) on the News @ Noon Show. Charlie Roth says he's getting ready to head over seas for his fifth European Tour. Roth will be performing in Ireland, Scotland, and England for 27 days later this month and into August.

Big Apple Bagels is returning to St. Cloud this summer. The St. Cloud Downtown Council announced on Tuesday that the restaurant will be at 701 West St. Germain Street, which used to be home to Whiskey Business and Biology 701. They hope to be open by late August.

Police: Stolen Car, Guns, Merchandise Recovered in Waite Park

Two people from California are in jail, facing a number of charges, after being arrested by Waite Park police on Sunday afternoon. Police received a call just before 12:30 p.m. that a man was trying to sell a stolen handgun, and that a woman was in a stolen car, at 815 1st Street South.

SCTCC Seeking $625,000 to Update and Expand Three Classrooms

The St. Cloud Technical and Community College is seeking $625,000 in state funds to expand and update three classrooms. The college will ask for legislative funding in January and would hope to receive the money next summer. The three classrooms used to be dental labs before the health and finances building was updated.

Police Make Arrest After Stand Off in North St. Cloud

A St. Cloud man is in jail today after a stand off with police. The incident started at about 6:00 p.m. last (Monday) night. St. Cloud police got information that 28-year-old Lamare Walker had a felony warrant and was in the 500 block of 9th Avenue North.
