High water is forcing more road closures in east central Minnesota. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says Highway 70 is now closed near the Rice Creek bridge, about four miles east of Highway 65 in Kanabec County.
The number of people killed Minnesota last year in crashes involving trains was the second lowest since 1970. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the total number of crashes was also the second lowest since 1970.
