Worker Who Died in Minnesota Trench Collapse Identified

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) - The Hennepin County medical examiner has identified the worker killed when a trench he was digging collapsed on him in Brooklyn Park.

He was 53-year-old Jerome Thomas Bruce of Cambridge.

Bruce was fatally injured Wednesday morning while digging a trench at a public storage outlet.

The medical examiner says he died at the scene of multiple blunt force injuries and that his death was an accident.
