WASHINGTON, D.C. - Sixth District Congresswoman Michele Bachmann traveled to Israel last week. She says, while she was there, Israel was in the middle of a days-long firefight by Hammas-aligned militants.  But thanks to a system called the Iron Dome, which is used to intercept missiles, no civilian lives were lost.

Bachmann says she met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while she was there. She says he didn't tip his hand whether he's still considering a pre-emptive attack on Iran.  But she said they might want to strike now while Iran still has their nuclear facilities above ground.
