I was strolling through one of the St. Cloud Facebook groups seeing what was on people's mind’s this weekend, and I saw a pretty interesting question. I thought, well there are probably more people out there who wondering this same question.

Someone was looking for the best campgrounds within a two-hour drive of St. Cloud. They were specifically looking for campgrounds that had full hook-ups. And as you might imagine, there was no shortage of answers. I didn’t verify all of these are within two hours of St. Cloud, but if you’re interested, you can check the distance if that matters to you.

Gypsy said "Clearwater RV & Campground". As she says it’s just a hop n’ skip to Warner Lake and it’s just minutes from St. Cloud. She also added “we loved it, been there many times”.

Gina and Ross each responded simply with “AJ Acres” in Clearwater.

Linnette threw a vote toward “Two Rivers” in Rice. Sonia chimed with for Two Rivers as well saying “we had a blast there”. There seems to be a lot to do here.

Judy enjoys Bunker Hills Campground in Coon Rapids.

Peggy says that “Lake Carlos State Park” North of Alexandria is really nice. Hanna also suggested Lake Carlos State Park, and even gave the advice of staying in the upper area. “The lower area is along the lake and it’s pretty crowded there”. Hanna says it’s a short walk from the upper campground to the lower to where the beach is.

Jasmine recommended "Sinclair Lewis Campground" in Sauk Center. “They have full hook-ups and nice showers. There’s a playground just down from the campground and across the street is a ninja warrior course. There’s a splash pad and skate park and it’s right by the Lake Wobegon Bike Trail. There are kayaks for registered campers. It’s close to the grocery store and other shopping and is 40 minutes from St. Cloud.

Kaylee said, “Gun Lake Family Campground" is an amazing place”.

Darlene responded with "St. Cloud Campground".

Amy said, “South Isle Family Campground" is kid and pet friendly”.

Jenni gave a vote for "Timberline RV Resort".

And Peggy likes "Eagles Landing" in Nevis Minnesota.

These are some suggestions from campers, who normally don’t mind sharing their experiences with other campers, good or bad.

Do you have any others that should’ve been on the list?
