Voters in 5 of 6 Minnesota School Districts Defeat Bond Referendums
UNDATED - By now you know both the ballot questions in the Sauk Rapids-Rice school district failed to pass Tuesday. They certainly weren't alone in their lack of voter support.
Of the six school districts in the state that held referendum votes this week, five were defeated. Voters in Pierz, Mora, St. Francis, and Hinckley-Finlayson all said no to referendums.
The one exception was North Branch where they had three questions on the ballot, and all three passed.
Another local school district, Eden Valley-Watkins, will hold a bond referendum on Tuesday, June 6th with one question on the ballot asking for $12 million for district wide upgrades.
