The Minnesota Vikings selected linebacker Anthony Barr with the ninth overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Barr collected 10 sacks for the Bruins last season and ranked second in the nation with 13.5 sacks in 2012.

Before drafting Barr, the Vikings traded down from eighth to ninth with Cleveland and picked up a 5th round pick in the process.

The pick may lead to some controversy, with quarterback Johnny Manziel still on the board at the time. Ultimately, Rick Spielman picked up a defensive player that should fit in well with new head coach Mike Zimmer.
