Twins Trade Delmon Young To Tigers

The Twins have traded outfielder Delmon Young to the Detroit Tigers for minor league lefthanded pitcher Cole Nelson and a player to be named later.  Nelson is a 6'7 235 pound pitching prospect who has pitched at Class A Lakeland and has a record of 5-11 with a 4.87 ERA in 26 appearances.  Young was hitting .266 with 4 homeruns and 32 RBIs for the Twins this season.
