Top 5 at 7:45 – Dangers of Too Much Rain

It rained almost all day yesterday and more rain is expected today and tomorrow.  The Top 5 at 7:45 is looking at the dangers of all this rain.  The Top 5 at 7:45 airs weekday mornings with me on WJON.

5) Baseball, Softball fields get flooded.  Games will be cancelled or postponed this week.
4) Pot holes are getting bigger.  The pot holes are hiding a little too with all this rain.
3) Water in the basement.  A sump pump and shop vac become essential.
2) River flooding.  The Sauk and Mississippi River are in danger.
1) Trees uprooted. We saw this a ton last year too.
